Base salary $110,000- $160,000 plus a profit-sharing structure with uncapped upside tied to project monetization.
A growing energy developer with a multi-megawatt pipeline across key US markets is hiring a Origination Manager to build out its origination function. This is the team that generates the company's development pipeline, and you'd own its strategy, systems, execution, and people.
You'd run the front-end of the pipeline: market entry, prospecting, landowner outreach, GIS screening, and site targeting. Project Developers keep ownership of site control, project economics, and execution. Your job is to find the markets worth entering and build a consistent flow of high-quality, financeable prospects into the development team.
This is a build and execution role. You'd create the processes, workflows, and tools that let origination run. But also run with origination efforts yourself.
What you'll need
- 5 years in origination, land acquisition, or development, with a strong preference for site origination
- A track record of taking projects from start to finish, through development and financing, ideally into construction
- A developer's judgment on what makes a market attractive and an asset financeable
- Real experience managing and coaching a team
- Demonstrated success running prospecting campaigns and market expansion, including scoping an unfamiliar market and communicating findings clearly to leadership
- A commercial mindset and a bias toward execution
