What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Closing Paralegal position at Solorzano Johnson Law, LLC?
We are seeking a Real Estate Closing Paralegal. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience with real estate residential closings. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual, we want to hear from you! Existing relationships with referral sources is a plus and will be factored into your salary. Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of residential real estate closings, including preparing and reviewing closing documents and title commitments
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction to ensure a smooth and timely closing process
- Prepare and file legal documents, such as deeds, mortgages, powers of attorney, affidavits, etc.
- Maintain and update client files, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Qualia
- Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited program is preferred
- Must be a SC Notary Public and available for signings in office
- Strong familiarlity with title insurance basics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, attorneys, and other team members
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- A proactive, go-getter attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required
