Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assisted Living Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. Schedule
- Tuesday-Friday 2-10:20pm, or Part time Weekends 6am-6:30pm
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health and well-being.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or cognitive disabilities, implementing behavior management strategies as needed.
- Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control standards and performing routine cleaning tasks.
- Engage residents in social activities and promote their rights, independence, and dignity at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, memory care, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Familiarity with resident’s rights, medication procedures, and long-term care standards.
