Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our chiropractic office. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Starting rate is $15.00/hr with opportunity to grow to $20.00/hr after 90 days if you are a great fit!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
- Provide support to the chiropractor during patient examinations and treatments
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working at the front desk of a medical or dental office is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Proficiency in using phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
