Manager level, Private Equity Fund Accountant
Our client, a Philadelphia based Single Family Office, is seeking an Alternative Investment Fund Accountant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have experience with alternative investments (PE or Hedge) from an accounting and reporting perspective with the ability to manage capital calls and distributions, analyze investment performance and review portfolio valuations. This role will sit alongside the investment team and has significant exposure to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Performing financial statements review and preparation for assigned funds
- Overseeing cash reconciliation, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity across entities, trusts, and personal accounts
- Managing capital calls and distribution notices
- Completing fund performance calculations and analysis
- Ensuring regulatory and accounting standards compliance
Skills/Competencies
- 5 years Alternatives (Hedge or PE), fund administration or public experience
- Thorough knowledge of financial reporting standards, investment company accounting rules, and accounting principles
- Investran and Excel proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
