Our client, a global manufacturer, is seeking an HR Generalist in the Fort Wayne, IN area. Ideally, we are looking for someone who enjoys being actively involved in the day-to-day operations of Human Resources and is willing to roll up their sleeves to support the business. This is an on-site, in-person position; Mon-Fri.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees, supervisors, and plant leadership.
- Support employee relations matters, including investigations, counseling, performance management, and corrective action processes.
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and retention efforts.
This position comes with the following compensation & benefits:
- Pay up to $75,000 annually (based on experience level)
- Quarterly gainsharing program with the opportunity to earn up to 5% of quarterly earnings

Required qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in HR (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
- Demonstrated experience handling employee relations, corrective actions, and workplace investigations.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, unemployment claims, and other employment regulations.
- Experience using HRIS systems
