Fire Alarm Service Technician – NYC & Long Island

Responsibilities:
Inspect fire alarm and suppression systems regularly (weekly to yearly) per regulations.
Test and troubleshoot systems to fix problems quickly.
Repair or replace faulty parts to keep systems running.
Work with clients and team to schedule jobs on time.
Keep clear records of all work done and recommendations.
Provide great customer service and answer questions.
Attend training to keep skills and certifications up to date.
Qualifications:
2 years’ experience with fire alarm and suppression systems (pre-action, FM-200).
Knowledge of codes and standards (NFPA 72, NEC, etc.).
S-98 Certificate required.
Skilled at troubleshooting and repairs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Able to work independently and solve problems.
Detail-oriented with accurate reporting.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physically able to lift equipment and work in different environments.
