- Title: Senior Project Manager, R&D
- Location: Lafayette, IN
- Salary: $100,000-$120,000
- Implements comprehensive project management methodologies across all phases of project delivery, including strategic planning, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, design control processes, and budget management, while sharing expertise with team members
- Serves as a strategic project management leader, contributing to enterprise-wide program development initiatives and organizational best practices
- Partners effectively across all organizational levels to drive critical decisions, establish priorities, secure stakeholder alignment, and manage appropriate issue escalation
- Provides constructive feedback with transparency and directness to optimize team effectiveness and performance outcomes
- Proactively identifies and mitigates project risks through continuous stakeholder engagement and collaborative problem-solving approaches
- Facilitates regular project status reviews and strategic discussions with executive leadership at critical project milestones
- Analyzes project financial performance, including ROI calculations, cost projections, and timeline forecasting to ensure fiscal accountability
- Develops project management capabilities through mentoring and coaching of team members at various experience levels
- Provides direct supervision and leadership for junior project management staff as needed
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of R&D project management experience within the industry
- PMP certification is ideal
