This person will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-profile corporate events that support business objectives and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders. This role is responsible for managing complex, large-scale programs—including corporate forums, executive summits, and intimate roundtables—across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. Working closely with senior leaders, internal partners, and external vendors, the Senior Corporate Event Manager will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional operational rigor, and a strong understanding of the financial services landscape. The role also plays a key leadership function, mentoring junior team members and setting best practices for event excellence, measurement, and post-event insights.

- This is a fully onsite contract position and requires 5-days/week in office in San Francisco.
- Pay Rate: $55-60/hour
- Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of high-level corporate events, including forums, summits, roundtables, and executive experiences
- Partner with senior internal stakeholders (marketing, communications, leadership, sales, and compliance) to align event strategy with business and brand objectives
- Manage external agencies, vendors, venues, and production partners to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and run-of-show documents for complex in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs
- Oversee content strategy in collaboration with speakers and internal teams, ensuring programming is relevant, insightful, and tailored to executive audiences
- Serve as the primary point of contact during live events, proactively troubleshooting issues and ensuring flawless execution
- Lead post-event recaps and reporting, synthesizing insights, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback into clear recommendations
- Establish and refine event processes, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development
- Stay current on industry trends, event technologies, and best practices—particularly within financial services and corporate events
- 8 years of experience managing complex corporate events, ideally within financial services, consulting, or large technology organizations
- Proven experience leading executive-level forums, summits, and high-stakes stakeholder events
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to connect events to broader business goals
- Deep understanding of the financial industry and comfort working with senior leaders and regulated environments
- Demonstrated experience managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid event formats
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and vendor management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear recaps and executive-ready presentations
- Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
- Willingness to travel as required for on-site event execution
