Operations Assistant

Our client, a top media and entertainment company, is seeking an Operations Assistant to support digital packaging and labeling initiatives, contributing to the accuracy, efficiency, and sustainability of product packaging workflows. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining digital data within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool, supporting automation efforts, and ensuring smooth cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-curious, and passionate about operational excellence and sustainable innovation.

• Schedule: Full-time, onsite 4 days/week (subject to change)
• Assignment type: Temporary contracted Approximately 12/8/2025-6/7/2026

Responsibilities:


Data Management

• Perform data entry and governance for packaging and labeling systems.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all digital records and system inputs.
• Maintain and enhance the digital library within the PLM tool.
  
  
  

Process Automation & Innovation

• Assist in evaluating new software solutions to automate packaging/labeling tasks (e.g., digital label generation, compliance automation).
• Contribute process improvement ideas and support the implementation of efficiency-driven technologies.
• Stay engaged in identifying areas for operational digitization.
  
  
  

Sample & Submission Coordination

• Track, receive, organize, and document physical packaging samples and digital label submissions.
• Support communication workflows with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation.
  
  
  

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports on packaging and labeling activities.
• Analyze data outputs to inform improvements and highlight trends or issues.
  
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Participate in meetings with sourcing, sustainability, packaging, and technology teams.
• Provide updates on ongoing tasks and escalate challenges proactively.
• Support collaborative initiatives across departments.
  
  
  

Sustainable Sourcing Support

• Assist team leaders in executing sustainable packaging strategies.
• Document and organize sustainable materials, innovations, and best practices.
  
  
  

Continuous Learning

• Stay current on Generative AI developments and emerging digital tools relevant to packaging and labeling.
• Participate in team trainings and share useful insights or learnings.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2 years of experience in data management, process automation, or packaging/labeling operations
• Familiarity with digital tools and a basic understanding of Generative AI concepts
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools; ESKO WebCenter preferred but not required
• Strong analytical skills with excellent communication and organizational abilities
