What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at Solomon Page?
We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking an HR Generalist to join their team in a hands-on, operational HR role supporting multiple locations. This role will begin as contract with the opportunity to move to permanent.
- 100% onsite
- Hourly pay rate range (depending on experience): $35-$40/hour
Responsibilities:
- Partner with managers on employee relations matters and workplace concerns
- Support performance management processes including PIPs and employee coaching conversations
- Manage HR support for a large hourly employee population
- Handle ADA accommodations and related documentation/processes
- Coordinate onboarding and support a positive new hire experience
- Maintain employee records and HR data within Paylocity
- Respond to employee and manager HR questions regarding policies, procedures, and compliance
- Assist with investigations, documentation, and general HR operations
- Support recruiting coordination and other HR administrative functions as needed

- Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of related HR experience
- Strong employee relations experience required
- Experience supporting hourly employee populations
- Prior exposure to ADA accommodations and compliance related HR work
- Experience partnering with managers on performance management issues
- HRIS experience required, Paylocity preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a fast paced, high-touch operational environment
