What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel PM Line Cook position at Solomon Page?
Our client, a full-service hotel near LaGuardia Airport, is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join their culinary team. This is a great opportunity for cooks looking to grow within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Pay: $21/hr
- Schedule: 4PM-12:30AM
- Prepare proteins, sauces, soups, and additional menu components for service
- Assist with station setup, prep work, and line execution
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team during high-volume service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with Department of Health standards
- Support general kitchen production and employee cafeteria needs
- Ensure consistency, quality, and proper food handling procedures
Requried Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of line cook experience in restaurants, hotels, catering, or hospitality environments
- Experience with both hot and cold food preparation
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and support the team
- Basic English communication skills are acceptable
