What are the responsibilities and job description for the Freelance Account Supervisor - HCP position at Solomon Page?
We're looking for an experienced account lead to join a pharma advertising agency team on a short-term contract basis, supporting HCP-focused campaign work.
- Contract length: 4–8 weeks
- Rate: $60-70/hr DOE
- Ideal candidates can step in quickly and manage HCP account work with minimal ramp-up time
What we're looking for:
- Account experience at the VP, Account Supervisor (VP, AS), or VP, Account Group Supervisor (VP, AGS) level
- Strong background in pharmaceutical advertising with an HCP (healthcare provider) focus
- Experience in dermatology — particularly psoriasis — is a plus, though not required
What you'll be doing:
- Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, managing relationships and ensuring client objectives are met
- Lead and oversee account teams, coordinating across creative, strategy, medical/regulatory, and production departments to keep projects on track
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and scopes of work, flagging risks and keeping deliverables on schedule
- Guide the development and execution of marketing campaigns and tactics, ensuring strategic alignment with brand goals
- Present creative work, strategic recommendations, and campaign performance to clients
- Navigate MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review processes to ensure compliant, on-time content delivery
- Mentor and provide direction to junior account staff
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing client relationships
