Data Governance Specialist - Supply Chain

We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist Supply Chain to support enterprise data governance initiatives across supply chain operations. This role will be responsible for managing and maintaining supply chain master data, improving data quality, establishing governance standards, and ensuring data integrity across critical business domains. The ideal candidate will have experience in supply chain operations, master data management, data governance, and analytics, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.

Responsibilities:


Data Governance & Master Data Management

• Manage and maintain supply chain master data, including Product, Vendor, Inventory, Location, and related data domains.
• Define, implement, and enforce data governance standards, policies, business rules, and procedures.
• Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across supply chain systems.
• Support enterprise data governance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  
  
  

Data Quality Management

• Monitor, assess, and improve data quality across supply chain datasets.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
• Establish data quality controls and governance processes to prevent recurring issues.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to drive data quality improvements.
  
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Operations, Analytics, and IT teams to support business objectives.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand data requirements and governance needs.
• Work closely with analytics teams to ensure reliable reporting, dashboards, and business insights.
• Communicate governance initiatives, standards, and recommendations to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  
  
  

Documentation & Compliance

• Develop and maintain data definitions, metadata, governance documentation, and process standards.
• Support data-related audits, compliance activities, and governance reviews.
• Ensure adherence to organizational data management policies and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation for governance procedures and business rules.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
