- Job Title: Data Governance Specialist Supply Chain
- Location: Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
- Contract Duration: 8 Months
- Rate Range: $5060/hr on W2
- Only W2 Candidates, NO C2C
Data Governance & Master Data Management
- Manage and maintain supply chain master data, including Product, Vendor, Inventory, Location, and related data domains.
- Define, implement, and enforce data governance standards, policies, business rules, and procedures.
- Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across supply chain systems.
- Support enterprise data governance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
- Monitor, assess, and improve data quality across supply chain datasets.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues and discrepancies.
- Establish data quality controls and governance processes to prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to drive data quality improvements.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Logistics, Operations, Analytics, and IT teams to support business objectives.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to understand data requirements and governance needs.
- Work closely with analytics teams to ensure reliable reporting, dashboards, and business insights.
- Communicate governance initiatives, standards, and recommendations to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain data definitions, metadata, governance documentation, and process standards.
- Support data-related audits, compliance activities, and governance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to organizational data management policies and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for governance procedures and business rules.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning.
- Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
