Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper to assist with finance and accounting processes such as month-end/year-end close. This individual should be detail-oriented, eager to take ownership of his or her areas of responsibility, and have excellent communication skills to work with the finance team as well as cross-departmentally.

- $85-105k
- Create/review monthly/quarterly/annually profit and loss and balance sheet statements
- Enter monthly deposits, payments, payables and receivables
- Enter monthly credit card transactions
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals
- Prepare and file clients’ annual business tax license renewals
- Prepare and file annual personal property tax statements
- Prepare financial reports in the firm’s format by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
- Maintaining historical records by filing documents
- File sales tax returns (monthly/quarterly/annually)
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or any related fields preferred
- 5 years of experience
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to be both self-directed and work well in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, keep an open mind, be patient and thoughtful
- Ability to interpret numerical data
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong spreadsheet skills (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets etc.) and word processing skills (Microsoft Office, Google Docs, etc.)
