Our client, a fashion and apparel company, is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team! This will be a onsite role working out of their office in Bridgewater. The successful candidate will have accounts payable experience with proficiency in SAP.

- Contract Role: 12 months
- Pay: $22.95/hr on W2
- Efficiently process, upload, and prepare a high volume of PO, non-PO, fixed asset, and foreign currency legal invoices utilizing SAP and Ariba.
- Diligently audit invoices processed by peers to ensure accuracy and compliance, collaborating directly with them to resolve any errors.
- Verify new vendors and updates, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies, including monthly Debit Balance report items.
- Manage check-related duties, including initiating stop payments and facilitating the special handling and mailing of checks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact by promptly addressing internal and external inquiries via phone, the AP mailbox, and Ariba.
- Remain flexible to assist with additional Accounts Payable assignments and special projects as requested.
- Proficient in SAP and core Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Combines strong data entry skills with effective time management capabilities to handle tasks accurately and productively.
- Dedicated team player who takes a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional growth.
