Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support a mix of tax preparation, accounting, and financial statement work for individual and business clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on client service, can manage recurring deadlines, and brings strong technical accounting skills across tax returns, sales and payroll tax filings, reconciliations, general ledger activity, and financial reporting.

- Accountant - $90-120k plus bonus
- Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns
- Prepare quarterly payroll tax returns
- Provide bookkeeping services, including general ledger postings, bank reconciliations, write-ups, and financial statement preparation
- Communicate regularly with clients and build strong, responsive client relationships
- Set up company files in QuickBooks, including the chart of accounts
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Record deposits, payments, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activity
- Enter and reconcile monthly credit card transactions
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals
- Prepare and file clients’ annual business tax license renewals and personal property tax statements
- Compile financial reports in the firm’s format by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
- Maintain accurate historical records and supporting documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
- 3 years of relevant accounting, bookkeeping, or CPA firm experience
- Strong accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, client-service mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Comfort interpreting financial data and identifying discrepancies
- Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
