Role Description
This is an on-site, PRN role for a Registered Nurse, based in Frisco, TX. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, pre-op, circulating, post-op and discharging patients. Daily responsibilities include patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, preparing patients for surgery, and post-procedure care. The role also requires maintaining accurate patient records and collaborating with the surgical and administrative teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and completion of an accredited nursing program
- Proficiency in patient assessments, administering medications, and post-operative care
- Experience in surgical & operating room procedures is highly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of sterile techniques, infection control, and HIPAA regulations for maintaining patient safety and confidentiality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications are required
- Previous experience in plastic or cosmetic surgery is preferred.
- Pacu experience is a must.
