Role Description The Associate will support client matters through legal research, drafting, and analysis, helping to develop strategic solutions tailored to each client’s objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing memoranda, briefs, and correspondence; reviewing and organizing documents and evidence; and assisting with case management, deadlines, and filings. The role will also involve direct collaboration with senior team members, participation in client meetings or calls, and contribution to internal process improvements and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This is a full-time role based in Tulsa, OK.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and writing abilities, with experience analyzing statutes, regulations, case law, and complex fact patterns.
- Skilled in drafting clear, concise, and well-structured documents, including memoranda, pleadings, correspondence, and presentations.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborative team mindset, with strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
- High level of professional integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to client service, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Proficiency with common office software and legal research tools; ability to adapt to new technologies and practice management systems.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility to become licensed in Oklahoma within a reasonable timeframe).
- Prior law firm, clerkship, or relevant legal experience is preferred; experience in complex or innovative matters is a plus.
