What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swing shift Caregiver position at Solomia Home Care, LLC?
We are looking for a responsible individual to become an important member of our outstanding care team.
Our goal is to provide the highest level of care and compassion to each of our residents. The ideal candidate must be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills as well as be able to closely follow detailed instructions.
Responsibilities
- Help clients take prescribed medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Help clients with physical therapy exercises
- Plan and prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
- Be a pleasant and supportive companion
- Report any unusual incidents
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Build a relationship and trust with residents, as this makes makes a better quality of life for them
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Experience:
- Caregiving: 3 years (Required)
Shift availability:
- Day Shift (Preferred)
- Night Shift (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
