SCOPE OF ROLE:Provides direct services to Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center 24 hr program.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides clinical treatment in accordance with scope of practice and regulations.Actively monitors the integrity of consumer data; responsible for the reliability and accuracy of clinical data housed by client Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management software; documents all services in accordance with client policies, NYSOMH regulations and all relevant federal laws; maintains the strict confidentiality of consumers currently engaged in or formerly a recipient of treatment services.In coordination with relevant members of the client's management team, conducts limited outreach and marketing to potential referral sources internal and external to client; active liaison with community service providers, hospitals, and other prospective referral sources may be required.Coordinates care with client's nurse practitioners, psychiatrists and administrative staff; closely coordinates with clinicians external to the client as appropriateProvide individual and group therapy (Mental Health & Substance Use D/O)Provide Crisis intervention as appropriate.Make community referral recommendations as appropriate to (LOC) level of careUtilizes best and evidence-based approaches to treatment consistent with organizations culture; health/mental health integration, trauma-Informed Care rehabilitation and recovery, Culturally Responsive care and wellness approaches figure prominently.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMaster's degreeLMSW, LCSW,LMHC,LCAT RequiredIf LMSW or LMHC must have CASAC-THigh degree of computer literacyAbility to work some late evenings including weekendsExperience in an crisis / respite/ residential settingFamiliarity with recovery-oriented, evidence-based clinical practice preferredExperience with dually diagnosed individuals preferredDemonstrated experience with diverse populations (Adults/Youth/Children)Availability to provide services in a 24 hr. crisis-oriented settingBi-lingual Spanish preferredCompany DescriptionHow you project yourself in the world says a lot about you.
