Sollevare Group is a Brooklyn-focused real estate private equity firm that focuses on acquiring, repositioning, and developing distinctive mixed-use and multifamily properties in New York City. In roughly one year, we’ve purchased and exited 10 deals and raised more than $30,000,000 of equity. We’re backed by a robust and growing equity base and are building toward an institutional-quality platform with a clear path to scale.
The Role
We’re hiring someone to work directly alongside the founding partners across many facets of our business: underwriting, asset management, investor relations, and deal execution. You’ll will be a key role player in making decisions that affect the trajectory of our company, on-site when buildings are under renovation, and on the call when capital partners pick up the phone.
We’ve built a machine that produces. We need someone sharp, hungry, and resourceful to help it run faster and smarter.
What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain underwriting models, renovation budgeting, hold/sell scenario analysis, and portfolio-level returns tracking.
• Support deal execution from LOI through closing, coordinating with legal counsel, title, lenders, and brokers.
• Manage asset-level reporting, including construction budget tracking, lease-up timelines, and investor distribution schedules.
• Prepare investor communications, quarterly updates, and materials for capital raises targeting family offices and RIAs.
• Bring independent thinking to every deal, we want someone who challenges assumptions, not someone who just runs the numbers.
• Assist with accounting, budgeting, and reporting for our properties and operating company
Who You Are
• Minimum of 2.5 years of direct real estate experience — acquisitions, asset management, development, or lending at a firm where you touched live deals.
• Advanced Excel skills where you can pass our financial modeling test: you build models from scratch, you audit other people’s models, and you’re fluent in sensitivity tables, data validation, and dynamic formatting.
• Hands-on experience with real capital structures: JV equity, LP / GP waterfalls, construction draws.
• A clear, precise communicator who can draft an investor memo, write investor reports or write to Sollevare counterparties without heavy editing.
• You think like a principal, you have opinions on deals, and you back them up with data.
Compensation & Culture
$160,000-$200,000. This is not a role where we’re looking to save on talent. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will include meaningful exposure to deal economics.
