Solix Technologies is seeking a hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite Consultant with strong SQL and PL/SQL expertise to support an EBS Active Archiving implementation
The consultant will be responsible for developing, configuring, and validating Oracle EBS archiving and purge solutions using the Solix Common Data Platform (SCDP).
This role is highly technical and requires a deep understanding of Oracle EBS R12.2 data structures across key modules such as GL, INV, WIP, BOM, WMS, ONT, XLA, and custom XXCUST tables, as defined in the federal archiving project scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL programs, stored procedures, and SQL queries for data extraction, archiving, and validation.
- Analyze and map EBS schema relationships to define archive logic and eligibility criteria for transactions.
- Customize and configure pre-packaged archiving templates for both standard and custom modules.
- Validate data integrity between production and archive repositories through SQL-based reconciliation.
- Collaborate with DBAs on archive repository setup, performance optimization, and data migration scripts.
- Execute and troubleshoot archiving runs during CRP and UAT cycles, ensuring transactional completeness.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including configuration guides, data mappings, and validation reports.
- Support customer teams during deployment and conduct operational knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications:
- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.x (technical or techno-functional).
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL development, query optimization, and large data processing.
- Deep understanding of EBS data models and dependencies across GL, AP, AR, INV, WIP, BOM, WMS, ONT, and XLA.
- Experience with custom schemas (XXCUST) and integrating them into standard Oracle EBS processes.
- Exposure to data archiving, purging, or large-volume data migration projects.
- Familiarity with Oracle 19c, concurrent programs, and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with enterprise archiving tools.
- Knowledge of EBS security setup, read-only responsibilities, and access to archived data.
- Exposure to EBS attachment archiving (FND_LOBS, FND_DOCUMENTS).
- Awareness of federal data compliance and access controls.
