Day In The Life
- Requirements Creation & Analysis
- Parts Selection & trade studies
- Architecture design - block diagrams, etc.
- Schematic Capture & Involvement with the Physical Layout process
- Lab checkout & integration of HW utilizing test plan and lab equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- 8 years of experience in the development and design of electronics circuit designs, multi-assembly system/unit design
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field
- Ability to take a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete hardware design, and verification via test and integration
- Experience with PCB design process and expertise in tools used to design (schematic capture), analyze and simulate designs prior to hardware execution
- Background in developing complex, multi‑layer circuit card assemblies and applying design constraints
- Familiarity with software or FPGA development and leading programs from development into production
- Active Secret clearance
