Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced AVEVA PI Systems Administrator to own and support our industrial data environment across 2 mining operations, Spring Valley and Mineral Park. This role will be responsible for the administration, integrity, and ongoing development of the AVEVA PI System and Metallurgical Management System (MMS), ensuring reliable operational data, metallurgical accounting, and production reporting.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary steward of the platform, supporting operations, metallurgy, engineering, and management through trusted data, reporting, and analytics.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Administer and maintain the AVEVA PI environment including Data Archive, Asset Framework, PI Vision, interfaces, security, backups, and system performance.
•    Manage PI tags, AF structures, and data integrations.
•    Maintain MMS WIRES (Warehousing of Information Reporting & Execution) system including data integration, data quality, system configuration, and user access.
•    Develop and maintain production reports, dashboards, and displays.
•    Validate and troubleshoot data quality issues across plant instrumentation, analyzers, scales, and control systems.
•    Support operational and metallurgical teams with data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
•    Manage data governance, documentation, and change control for PI-related systems.
•    Coordinate internal stakeholders and external consultants on system enhancements and support.

Skills/Qualifications:
•    5 years of hands-on experience administering AVEVA PI Systems, including PI Data Archive, AF, and PI Vision.
•    Strong SQL and relational database skills.
•    Experience supporting industrial control systems (PLC, DCS, SCADA, or OT environments).
•    Strong troubleshooting, data management, and stakeholder communication skills.
•    Mining, mineral processing, manufacturing, or other heavy industry experience.
•    Experience building operational dashboards and reporting solutions.

Desired Skills/Qualifications:
•    Knowledge of metallurgical accounting, including reconciliations and mass balancing.
•    Experience with Rockwell, Microsoft Fabric, Ignition, or similar industrial data platforms.
