Responsibilities

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including catheterization and emergency medicine procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in developing and implementing individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in case management activities to coordinate care across various services.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as sonography and CT scans as needed.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or related field preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in patient care, including knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessments accurately.
- Proficient in triage processes and emergency medicine protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members.
