Key Responsibilities: This is not intended to be an exhaustive list, but rather is a primer for what our candidates can expect to be doing on a day-to-day basis in this role.
- Operate and monitor laboratory and industrial equipment in accordance with established SOPs
- Assist with material handling and movement of production materials, including material intake and packaging
- Maintain accurate batch records, production logs, and inventory documentation
- Support continuous improvement to enhance yield, efficiency, and product quality
- Perform routine equipment cleaning, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain an organized and compliant production area, including utensils, collection vessels, and workspaces
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper hazardous material handling procedures
- Meet production standards while maintaining quality and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in GMP-regulated production environments
- Experience with applied chemistry, R&D, statistics, or experimental design
- Working knowledge of unit operations used in the food or chemical manufacturing industries
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6–10 hours)
- Frequent kneeling, bending, and repetitive motions
- Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working indoors around heavy machinery
- Ability to use required PPE when working with airborne particles, chemicals, and elevated noise levels
