Our Brooke County Landfill, located in Colliers, WV, is currently searching for a Scale Master! The Scale Master will is responsible for weighing trucks in and out of the facility, printing scale tickets, obtaining proper signatures from the drivers, and properly recording the company or vehicle owner on the scale reports for billing purposes.
What You Will Do:
- Communicate with Drivers and notes weight as listed on the scale display.
- Enter weight information into the Weigh-it computer program and prints scale tickets.
- Note proper company/truck owner on scale tickets and in computer for billing purposes.
- Complete and document any accident/injury reports as needed/required
- Basic Office duties i.e., data entry, filing, copying paperwork and scanning documents etc.
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned.
You Have:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A high school degree or equivalent, or any equivalent of training and experience that provides the preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Previous Scale Master experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience in the trucking or similar industry preferred
- Basic Computer knowledge required
- Must be able to follow all required work safe practices
