What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brake Press / Drill Press Operator position at Solid Steel Manufacturing?
Seeking a dedicated processing person that can read prints, and jump between multiple machines throughout the day to prepare steel parts for production.
- Must have ability to read tape measure down to 1/16"
- Brake Press with CNC panel - program backstop limits, dimensions, and bend degrees to perform print-specific bends
- Drill Press - able to setup table stops for quick drilling on production parts. Many tubes we drill have multiple holes, so using multiple stops is necessary
- Shear - set backstop limits to cut bar stock down to print size
- Full time with plenty of overtime available

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
