Entry-Level Quality Inspector
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Entry-Level Quality Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products, materials, and components to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and rulers to verify specifications
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities to the Quality Inspector Lead
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with production, engineering, and quality team
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings (a plus but not required)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills required
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred (Not Required):
- Previous experience in manufacturing or inspection
- Familiarity with ISO standards or quality systems
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity
Education: High School Diploma / GED
Experience: No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided
Salary: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
