Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a entry level background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals related to HVAC design.
• Perform repairs on various mechanical systems including plumbing, boilers, and refrigeration units.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• Provide field service support for HVAC/R systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper installation of HVAC systems during building projects.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.

Experience

• desired Entry level experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry with a focus on air conditioning systems.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and property maintenance.
• Previous work in construction or as a mechanic is highly desirable.
