Candidates with training or certifications from the ESA, SIA, and/or NICET are preferred.If you have the experience and qualifications for this position, want to learn about the position and our company culture, and are ready for your next career move, send us your resume!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompleting service calls for commercial customersInstalling new Fire Detection, Intrusion Protection, Video Surveillance, Access Control, and Network Infrastructure SystemsConduit and cabling for new and existing systemsServicing components of Fire and Intrusion systemsMaintain good customer relations and satisfactionContinually expands knowledge base by attending seminars, conferences, and professional trainingQualificationsFour or more years of experience with fire alarm and/or electronic security systems.Ability to read blueprint drawingsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsNaturally organized and methodical, with strong attention to detailMaintain a clean and professional imageMust have a clean driving recordExperience with Honeywell Vista and/or Firelite preferredExperience with NFPA Inspection and testing requirements preferredEducation and ExperienceESA and/or NICET Certification preferredCandidates with current state licensing are preferredPhysical RequirementsThe Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Heavy lifting is required up to 75lbsLong periods of constant standingAble to utilize a ladderExpected hours of workTypically, 40-50 hours a week, during normal business hoursCompletes regular network maintenance outside of normal business hours, typically one to two times a month.Occasional work outside of typical hours to support special projects.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: From $25.00 - $35.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental InsuranceEmployee assistance programEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceRetirement planTuition reimbursement Vision insuranceSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayOn callOvertimeExperience:Fire alarm installation: 2 years Intrusion alarm installation: 2 yearsVideo surveillance installation: 2 years (Preferred)Federal and State criminal background checks are required for this positon.
