Solid Rock Florida
Solid Rock Florida is a mission-driven organization that encompasses Solid Rock Community School and The Sanctuary at Solid Rock, creating a unique educational environment that blends academic excellence, humane education, and hands-on experiences with rescued animals.
Solid Community School is a progressive, K12 student-centered private school dedicated to providing an innovative, compassionate, and engaging learning environment. We believe in education beyond the classroom, integrating Compassionate Humane Education (CHE), project-based learning, and hands-on experiences to empower students with the skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As one of only two schools in the U.S. with a 100% plant-based kitchen, we prioritize health, sustainability, and ethical responsibility, fostering a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusivity. Our curriculum encourages critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application, preparing students to become thoughtful, compassionate leaders.
Beyond the classroom, our students engage with The Sanctuary at Solid Rock, our animal sanctuary with a permitted wildlife rehab and lifelong home for our rescued animal residents. Through hands-on experiences, students learn about animal care, veterinary care, environmental stewardship, making humane education an integral part of their daily learning.
At Solid Rock, our staff is more than a team—we are a community of educators, mentors, and changemakers committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our students. If you are passionate about education, animal rescue and sanctuary work, and ethical learning, and want to be part of a supportive and dynamic school culture, we invite you to join us!
