Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pastor to lead and nurture our non-denominational Christian congregation. This vital role involves providing spiritual guidance, teaching religious principles, and fostering a welcoming environment for individuals and families. Duties
- Deliver engaging sermons and religious teachings emphasizing Biblical theology and spiritual growth.
- Offer support to individuals and families experiencing grief, terminal illness, or personal crises.
- Participate in worship services, prayer meetings, and religious events that foster community connection and spiritual development.
- Mentor church members, including youth and adults.
- Collaborate with community organizations to support outreach initiatives.
- Work with other church leaders (including official church board) in accordance with established governing documents of Solid Rock Family Church.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a clergyperson or in a similar religious leadership role within a nonprofit faith-based organization is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong background in Biblical study.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex spiritual concepts clearly and effectively.
- Skilled in crisis management, conflict resolution, and working with families during difficult times.
- Ability to provide spiritual guidance through crisis intervention while maintaining confidentiality and empathy.
- Agree to and abide by Tenets of Faith as described in the Constitution and Bylaws of Solid Rock Family Church.
