We are hiring for a certified flagger/laborer position for our job sites in the Denver Metro area and are looking for applicants with experience working outside, working on their feet for extended periods of time, and working with a team to complete a project. We’re currently seeking a dependable, safety-minded individual to join our team as a Certified Flagger/Laborer.
Job Summary:
This dual-role position combines traffic control (certified flagging) with general labor tasks on construction sites. The ideal candidate is punctual, team-oriented, and able to follow directions in a fast-paced outdoor environment. We are looking for a member of the team who can stay alert in both high and low traffic areas, who pays attention to detail in order to keep the team and public safe, and who can be a leader of safety, order, and cooperation in busy construction areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct traffic safely through and around work zones using proper flagging techniques.
Set up and remove cones, signs, and barricades in compliance with safety standards.
Assist with job site tasks such as moving materials, debris cleanup, and supporting equipment operators.
Maintain clear communication with crew members, drivers, and the public.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements:
Valid Flagger Certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Proficient in English (ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions)
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a strong plus
Physically able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in heat, sun, and varying weather conditions
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team
Construction experience preferred but not required: training provided
