Bible Teacher / Youth Pastor – Solid Rock Church & Solid Rock Christian Academy
Overview
Solid Rock Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to serve in a dual-role position with two distinct responsibilities:
- Bible Teacher (Middle/High School) at Solid Rock Christian Academy
- Youth Pastor (Grades 6–12) at Solid Rock Church
While these roles work together in mission, they are separate and equally important functions. The Bible Teacher role focuses on classroom instruction and spiritual development during the school day, while the Youth Pastor role centers on discipling students, leading ministry efforts, and building relationships outside the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have a clear call to ministry, a heart for students, and a desire to intentionally bridge families from the school into the life of the church.
Role 1: Bible Teacher (Middle/High School)
- Teach engaging and biblically sound lessons to middle and high school students (curriculum provided)
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment
- Support students’ spiritual growth within the academic setting
- Collaborate with school leadership and staff
Role 2: Youth Pastor (Grades 6–12)
- Lead youth services, small groups, and discipleship opportunities
- Build meaningful relationships with students and families
- Provide mentorship, spiritual guidance, and pastoral care
- Plan and lead youth events, outreach opportunities, and retreats
- Develop a growing and engaging youth ministry
- Intentionally connect and engage school families with the church
Qualifications
- A clear and evident call to ministry
- Strong biblical knowledge and ability to communicate Scripture effectively
- Experience working with middle and high school students
- Strong leadership and relational skills
- Ability to manage and balance both teaching and pastoral responsibilities
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing ministry environment
- Alignment with the mission, values, and doctrine of Solid Rock Church
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University

Solid Rock Christian Academy is a ministry of Solid Rock Church and currently serves approximately 300 students. We are a growing ministry that values strong relationships, spiritual growth, and a willingness to think creatively as we reach and disciple the next generation.
