What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipefitter position at SOLID Personnel?
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Pipefitter to install and maintain industrial piping systems (waste, water, compressed air) using materials like stainless steel, copper, and PVC. This role requires 5 years of journeyman-level experience, ability to read P&IDs and spool drawings, and working at heights up to 80 ft.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, troubleshoot, and repair piping systems, supports, racks, and related devices in a high-speed production environment.
- Technical Reading: Interpret P&IDs, shop drawings, spool drawings, and UPC codes to plan work.
- Material Fabrication: Cut, thread, and bend pipes (copper, stainless steel, PVC, carbon steel).
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to job site safety protocols and Tesla procedures.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) teams.
Requirements Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pipefitting/welding at a journeyman level.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft.
- Experience in industrial or commercial settings
