About the RoleWe’re seeking experienced Cable Technicians to join our growing Data Center Operations Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, routing, terminating, and testing copper and fiber optic cabling to support mission-critical network and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently in high-security and high-demand data center environments. Location: - Tri-Cities, Oregon (Herminston, Boardman and Umatilla)Start Date/Time: - ASAP, after interview processSchedule - M-F, 8 hour days Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, route, and secure structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic).Terminate and label patch panels, fiber enclosures, and network racks.Perform cable testing, certification, and troubleshooting using appropriate tools (Fluke, OTDR, etc.).Support the deployment of servers, network devices, and related hardware.Maintain accurate documentation of cabling layouts, labeling, and test results.Adhere to company and industry standards for quality, safety, and ESD handling.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely project delivery.Follow access and security protocols specific to data center environments.
