We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation of concrete forms, rebar installation, and setting up for pouring operations
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces
- Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, smoothing, and texturing to achieve desired surface quality
- Support in the installation of decorative elements like stamped or stained concrete and hardscape features
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials like concrete mixers, rebar, and formwork components
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to tools, equipment operation, and basic repairs
- Construction estimating skills for understanding project scope and material needs (nice-to-have)
- Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete pumping processes
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery on construction sites
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of masonry techniques including stucco, plastering, tile laying, flooring installation, and roofing basics
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Familiarity with renovation projects, restoration work, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, welding, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry work
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes (preferred)
- Valid commercial driver’s license for site transportation (nice-to-have)
