We are seeking a skilled and motivated Brick Mason to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute masonry work.
- Lay bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and other materials with precision using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications.
- Install rebar reinforcement and perform concrete forming and finishing to create sturdy foundations and structures.
- Execute mortar work with expertise in mixing, applying, and smoothing mortar for secure bonding of masonry units.
- Build stone masonry features such as facades, retaining walls, or decorative elements while adhering to safety protocols.
- Construct and dismantle masonry scaffolding safely to access elevated work areas efficiently.
- Perform restoration and renovation tasks by matching existing materials and techniques for seamless integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete masonry work with a strong understanding of building material installation techniques.
- Skilled in interpreting construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications accurately.
- Hands-on experience with bricklaying, stone masonry, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, and caulking.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation relevant to masonry tasks as well as power tools used in construction environments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards on construction sites.
- Ability to work effectively at heights by building or dismantling masonry scaffolds safely.
- Construction site experience with a focus on renovation projects or new builds across commercial or residential settings.
