About the Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Woodshop Technician to join our team during a transition period as our woodshop prepares to relocate from Norwalk, Ohio, to Dundee, Ohio.
This position will begin as a contract labor role working in our Norwalk facility from approximately June 2026 through August 2026. At the end of August, the woodshop will relocate to Dundee, Ohio.
Applicants may choose to:
- Work in Norwalk through the duration of the contract period only, or
- Be considered for a full-time position following the relocation to Dundee.
Responsibilities
- Perform general woodworking and shop-related tasks
- Safely operate hand tools and woodworking equipment
- Read and work from plans, drawings, and instructions as needed
- Assist with fabrication, assembly, and finishing of wood products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support production goals and project deadlines
Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Have a valid driver's license
- Possess good general woodshop skills
- Have a basic understanding of hand tools and their proper use
- Be able to work from plans and drawings when required
- Understand fundamental woodworking techniques
- Be dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Compensation
Pay range during contract period in Norwalk will range $ 17.00 – $ 24.00 per hour depending on applicant skills and experience.
