Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A healthcare facility in Oakland, CA is seeking two skilled Radiotherapy Technologists for a 13-week contract to support the Radiation Oncology department. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday with an early day shift start time between 7:00 and 8:00 AM. Selected candidates will play an essential role in accurately delivering radiation therapy treatments to patients.Key Responsibilities:Set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatmentsAssess patient status during direct interaction and refer to the healthcare team as appropriatePrepare for treatment delivery including chart and film checks, room set-up, calculations, and electronic medical record verificationPerform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy planning as neededCollaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members to complete additional departmental tasksQualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in Radiation OncologyProficient with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ systems preferredValid ARRT and California RTT licenses requiredCurrent BLS certification requiredLocation Overview:Oakland, CA is a vibrant, diverse city located on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay.
