Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound/Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Current ARDMS registry (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- At least one year of recent experience in General Ultrasound
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Perform high-quality general ultrasound exams for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Accurately document and maintain imaging records in accordance with healthcare standards
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment per established protocols
- Explain exam procedures to patients and assist in patient positioning as needed
- Uphold patient confidentiality and safety at all times
