Schedule/Hours
- Three twelve-hour shifts (6:30AM – 7:00PM; weekends preferred if possible)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Call: On-call shifts required, typically 5-6 per four weeks plus approximately one weekend shift.
- Active and unencumbered Alaska RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Prior experience in a circulating role in the OR
- Expertise in ortho, total joints, neuro, and robotics procedures
- Confidence working with Epic EMR
- Preferred: CNOR certification, experience as scrub nurse
- Serve as a patient advocate while acting as primary circulator and resource for the sterile field in an 11-OR facility
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team, contributing to positive patient outcomes
- Provide intraoperative care for a variety of cases, with 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled
