Needed Qualifications
- Active RN license (state eligibility applies)
- Minimum of 2 years recent stepdown or progressive care experience
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
- Strong assessment skills and ability to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Deliver safe, effective patient care in the stepdown unit
- Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation post-ICU
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to optimize patient outcomes
