Travel Stepdown Nurse (RN) in Waipahu, HI

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Start: 05/11
• Duration: 16 weeks
• Shift: Rotating
• 36 hours per week

Required Experience & Skills:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years’ experience in Cardiac Telemetry, Progressive Cardiac Care, or Cardiac Stepdown
• Strong ICU stepdown and telemetry background
• Previous Float Pool experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR systems

Certifications:

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• AHA PALS
• AHA or APEX NIHSS

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in a stepdown PCU setting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans
• Utilize advanced clinical judgment for patients requiring cardiac monitoring
• Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with facility protocols
• Adapt to diverse clinical settings as part of the float pool
