Qualifications
- Active RN license (must be valid for West Virginia)
- At least 2 years previous experience in perioperative/operating room nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
- Circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures
- Coordinating patient care before, during, and after operations
- Maintaining strict aseptic techniques and managing surgical instruments/equipment
- Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Documenting care accurately and promptly in EMRs
- Contributing to a safe and supportive operating room environment
