Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise radiation therapy using Varian True Beam linear accelerators, conducting advanced treatments such as 3D conformal radiation, IMRT, SBRT, and SRT/SRS.
- Occasionally perform CT simulation procedures.
- Utilize ARIA electronic medical records (EMR) system for accurate recording and verification of treatments; Epic EMR experience is a plus.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and other clinical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain adherence to departmental protocols and quality standards.
- Float to various Treasure Valley sites as staffing needs arise, providing continuum of care across locations.
- Minimum 2-3 years of radiation therapy practice.
- Current ARRT Radiation Therapy certification and BLS certification required.
- Proficiency with Varian True Beam systems is mandatory; experience with Trilogy linear accelerators is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as ARIA and Epic.
- IV start experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and variable shift start times.
- Monday through Friday, treatment hours approximately 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Shift start times vary between 6:00 am and 9:00 am.
- No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements.
