Schedule
- 7:00 pm – 7:00 am, including weekend rotations
- Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a compact state
- BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
- Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse; experience in psychiatric/behavioral health or relevant clinical specialties highly desirable
- Assess patient needs and conditions, delivering direct and appropriate nursing care within the assigned psychiatric unit
- Review patient information—medical history, diagnostics, current condition—to develop tailored nursing care plans
- Execute essential nursing processes, including medication administration and treatments, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain and reconcile accurate medical records, upholding regulatory and organizational standards
- Evaluate patient response to interventions, identifying and implementing additional care strategies as necessary
- Collaborate extensively with the interdisciplinary care team for optimal care planning
- Carry out other nursing responsibilities as required
