Travel Pharmacist

Soliant is seeking an experienced Inpatient Night Pharmacist for a 300-bed regional medical center in Lumberton, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a confident, independent pharmacist who is comfortable being the sole pharmacist on duty. The hospital is located about two hours east of Charlotte, conveniently positioned between Charlotte and Wilmington and not far from Fayetteville.

This is a full-time contract position offering competitive weekly pay, full-time benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.), and the option for temp-to-hire. Because Lumberton is not a major metro area, non-taxable weekly travel allowances (lodging, meals, incidentals, etc.) are available for eligible travelers.

Position Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks with strong potential for extension; temp-to-hire option
• Schedule: 7-on / 7-off, 9:00 pm 7:30 am
• Setting: 300-bed regional inpatient hospital
• Systems: EPIC, Pyxis
  
  

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely medication order verification
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical teams
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Ensure safe, effective medication use throughout the facility
  
  

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist License (required)
• Solid hospital inpatient experience (required)
• Ability to independently manage night-shift operations as the sole pharmacist
• Strong communication and clinical judgment
